Lava guarantee conditions

Landig + Lava GmbH & Co. KG (hereinafter referred to as the "manufacturer") grants a 2-year guarantee (or up to 5-year guarantee, details see below) on the goods advertised under the guarantee promise. The period for calculating the guarantee period begins with the delivery date to the customer. The manufacturer's warranty covers the Federal Republic of Germany and all countries of the European Union. If material or manufacturing defects occur during this period, the manufacturer, as the guarantor, grants a free repair of the goods within the scope of the guarantee.

Guarantee claims are excluded in the event of damage to the goods caused by::

Misuse or improper handling
Environmental influences (humidity, heat, overvoltage, dust, etc.)
Failure to observe any safety precautions
Non-compliance with the operating instructions
Use of force (e.g. blow, impact, fall)
Unauthorised attempts at repair
Normal wear (e.g. Teflon sealing strip or foam rubber seals)

A claim under the guarantee requires that the guarantor is enabled to examine the guarantee claim by having the product sent in. Care must be taken to avoid damage during transport by using appropriate packaging.

To apply for the guarantee, the applicant must enclose a copy of the original invoice with the shipment. We ask for your understanding that the manufacturer can refuse the guarantee if the invoice is not enclosed. Sending a copy of the invoice serves to calculate the guarantee period. Furthermore, the name and address of the buyer must be communicated to the seller if this is not evident from the attached copy of the invoice.

If the guarantee claim is justified, the guarantee will be processed free of charge for you. Any shipping costs you may have paid will then be reimbursed by the guarantor.

Note

Your statutory rights against us from the purchase contract concluded with us are in no way restricted by this guarantee promise. Any existing statutory guarantee rights against us remain unaffected by this guarantee promise. If the purchased item is defective, you can always contact us within the framework of the statutory guarantee, regardless of whether there is a guarantee case or the guarantee is claimed.
